This short comic toy theatre piece examines the rumor that L. Frank Baum's classic story The Wizard of Oz was actually a parable for the political situation at the turn of the century, especially the battle between supporters of the silver standard vs. the gold standard. Hilarious and fast-paced, it's entertaining for Oz fans, history buffs and regular theatregoers alike.
